Sonatas for Harpsichord by Leonardo Leo

Recently, a number of sonatas for harpsichord by Leonardo Leo have been discovered in a collection of italian music from the 18th century which is to be found in the library of the Conservatory of Geneva. Being part of an instruction on thoroughbass in two volumes, the sonatas are noted in the form of partimenti, i.e. as a single figured single bass voice and were obviously given as exercise for the student. The pictures below show the cover page and the first page. A full edition is in preparation.
